7/29/2009 - ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- An F-22 Raptor pilots braved a rainy day of flying July 27 during Red Flag-Alaska here. Red Flag is a field training exercise for U.S. coalition forces that provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment. Participating bases include Elmendorf and Eielson Air Force bases, Alaska, and Osan Air Base, South Korea.
